Freebie Friday – Make a Card a Day!

I don’t really have a specific time of the day, because different things inspire me. (For example, I was watching my favorite soap one day, and I loved the color combination of one of the character’s living rooms!! That is on at 2 PM here, but I am a (very early) morning person.) However, at 3:45 pm when my boys are getting off the school bus, there is too much craziness to do anything else!!

Early in the morning or very late at night for me. Sometimes the two run together! LOL

Though I could make cards all day long, my favorite time is in the morning. It’s hard to do with my little boy running around, but the few minutes I can catch here and there are usually my most creative. By the evening, I’m unfortunately too pooped!

I’m most creative around 10:00 at night. Of course, that’s when I’m about to go to bed, so I stay up while I have my mojo going and then am a bear the next day!

I am best in the morning because I am a morning person. But rarely get the chance to craft in the AM. So, I usually craft in late afternoon to night. I fit it in when I can mostly.

My most creative time of day is 9pm to 11pm. That is when I have quiet time, and the girls are sleeping soundly.

I usually catch my second wind late at night. That’s when I have time to sit and play with fabric and card supplies. I like to do the thinking and planning at night and the creating during the day.

Im creative any time that I can sneak away from the family

My best time for creativity is in the early evening and then I usually stay up late working on my creations till the wee hours.

I’m a night owl scrapper. I work full time so the only time I have left is late night after the kids go to bed. That’s when I get all my creative energy out.

I think I am most creative either mid afternoon or late at night when the house is quiet–only problem is when I get my mind wrapped around a project it hard to let myself fall asleep so I am sometimes up really late.

I usually feel most creative in the morning, after some coffee and browsing the blogs on my Google Reader.

(sigh) I want this Kelly. I am most creative right after lunch (naptime for the baby!), but most of my ideas come to me while I’m lying in bed at night. That’s why it takes me an hour to fall asleep.

I feel the most creative whenever inspiration hits. It’s never really a particular time of day…just anytime I can fit a little creativity in! =)

I like creating after the kids have gone to bed, so my prime time is evening to late evening.

I am generally a late night crafter. Once my toddlers go to bed I can concentrate and be more creative.

LOVE the cards! CUTE fall card!!! I feel most inspired at night because that is when the kids go to bed and i get to actually think and create without interruption. It’s bad sometimes because i have a hard time turning off my brain when i go to bed!! But i really enjoy that time to have some “me” time.

I’m most creative in the late afternoon. I’ve gotten all my “have to” stuff done and I can just bury myself in my papers, turn the music up high, and work and work until my stomach tells me it’s time to cook dinner!! But I love to grab time wherever I can. I’m so into card making now that if a day goes by that I don’t get to make at least one, I’m sad.

I feel most creative in the afternoon, but if I get on a roll, it can go into the evening w/out me noting the passage of time.

OH for me its ALL day.. Its like I’m wired w/mojo all day I could be playing with my little girl and all of a sudden her tea pot will look like a good color combo.. or we are playing with the blocks and they look like a good sketch.. Its too funny sometimes.. I can get inky anytime of day.. thats how I know my mojo isn’t up and running like it should if I didn’t get inky that day

I am definitely a “night owl” person…I don’t do mornings and find that I have the best times of creativity in the evenings and following. If I didn’t have day time responsibilities I would definitely stay up into the wee hours of the morning!

I don’t reall have specific time that I do any crafting. It is usually when I get an idea and head off to make it but most of the time it is in the afternoon after my husband leaves for work.

Being creative would be a stretch to what I do! LOL I’m the type of person who needs to see a project or card, in order to do my best work. This book would be perfect for that. I’m a night person but the time I like to make cards the most is right after dinner. My belly is full so my mind is ready to go.

Most creative time usually ends up being very LATE at night after everyone has gone to bed and it is MY TIME in our house. Coffee, Soda, and sugar usually help the formula for my creativity to start showing up BUT having my good friend sitting next to me pretty much guarantees a great time of scrapping or cardmaking!!!! I WOULD SO LOVE TO WIN THIS NEW BOOK!!!!!! Can’t wait to start thumbing through it and start trying some new looks on my cards!

I feel creative many times during the day or night but I usually only have time to get creative in the afternoon when my baby and toddler are napping Would love this book full of ideas under my Christmas tree this year!

I’m usually most creative first thing in the morning (around 6am), or late at night after everyone else has gone to bed – it’s so peaceful at those times!!

I am definately an afternoon and evening person. Since retirement, I have the luxury of sleeping in whenever I like. By the time I’ve checked emails and blogs, it’s afternoon before I can get started to work.

My husband works a 2nd job from 11:00 P.M. until 5:00 A.M. so my creative juices kick in around 11:30 P.M. The house is quite and I just seem to “think” up ideas better. I love making cards and everyone of them MUST be different. Cards, are MY THING.

I feel most creative in the late morning on the weekends, after I’ve had my chai tea. During the work week, I have to wait until evening to make cards. Working really cuts into my crafty time. heehee…

Late and very late at night.

My creativity hits mid-morning. The kids are at school, hubby at work, I’ve exercised, showered, caught up on my e-mail and Facebook. Then I break out the supplies and create!

I get going around 2-3 pm and can then craft until deep into the night. Sadly this pattern only works on weekends, so during the week I craft after 7 when I’m home from the day job.

It never fails that I’m most creatively thinking while in the shower, be it morning, afternoon or evening. I don’t know how many ideas have popped into my head while showering. I usually have to get out, get dressed & go sketch…so when the time is right to actually craft I can get right to it!

Always getting crative ideas…it’s finding the time to execute! That would usually be late at night once the kids are in bed and I’m still awake!! The book looks fabulous!

I am most creative when I need a card TODAY! That said, I usually spend time at my craft table in the afternoon.

I don’t a specific time because I usually try to squeeze it in whenever I can… mainly on the weekends.

My creative juices flow the most after my two young children are in bed asleep. It is then that I can escape to my craft area and create to my heart’s content. Winning this book would make that time even more productive!

Late at night when I’m supposed to be sleeping!

What a great publication! I think I get my best work done at night but these days I’m too tired from running around after my kids that I don’t really do any crafting at night. So the only time I get is afternoon, which is better light-wise… and those afternoons seem to be far & few between!

I’m very curious about this book! Inspiration can be hard to find, but there are also times I’m in the mood to make a card and have to think of a reason! As far as time of day, there’s not one special time that works more than another, but there are definitely days I wish I had no other responsibilities so I could ‘create’ all day!

If I could I’d create 24-7! You never know when inspiration is gonna strike, but this new book certainly will help;)

My most creative moments are right before I lay my head on my pillow I like to look in at all my scrapbook supplies before I go to sleep (a guilty pleasure) and then I start brainstorming which makes me get up and play around with my supplies organizing and laying things out so I can make a card or finish a scrapbook page.

I usually finish my thoughts the next night when I get dinner all dones and my boys are in bed!

I am usually creative when I am alone….music on….lots of time in the world to think and create:)

I don’t really have a particular time where I am most creative. But I would have to say late morning, afternoon and during the night because I am not a morning person. The only way I am creating something early in the morning is if I have coffee beside me while I am creating cards.

Usually it is at 2:00 am! I sometimes have a difficult time sleeping, so I just haul my insomniac self out of bed(leaving behind my snoring husband!!!) and go “color”!

I’ve actually been struggling with my most creative time of day lately. I’m an early morning crafter and absolutely hopeless at night. Being a Mum of a little one I only get time to craft at night. Help!!

I love your magazine and have subscribed for several years. I can’t say that I have a particular time of day when I feel most creative. My craft space is limited and I have to share it with my daughter, so sometimes it seems like more work to get ready to scrap then it is worth. Someday I will have my very own space.

I love to be in my stamp room in late afternoon but then I end up spending way too many hours there. I think that is my best time to be creative. Usually I end up making cards in the evening, though.
